The men at St. Michael’s are a very strong and committed group. Their meeting time is every second Sunday at 10 am in the Parish hall. (with Commentary Breakfast and Coffee/Tea) . Some of their fund raisers include: Building and Grounds Maintenance, Parking cars for Southern University Sporting Events and Local Community Events.

In the Episcopal church, all women members of the church are automatically members of the ECW. In the Diocese of Louisiana, Province IV, there are 52 churches, however, not all of them have active ECWs. Here at St. Michael’s, the ECW has been active for years and is very involved in the work of the Diocese. Currently: Yvonne Byrd - Vice President, Juliana Coverson - Junior Warden (fourth pic from left), Kathryn Johnson - Secretary and Treasurer (Third from left). Even though, we have a small group of women, each is committed to the function and growth of the ECW. The ECW meets every third Sunday after church, at 12:30 PM. Several fund raisers are being implemented to not only support the programs of the ECW, but to help the church meet its financial obligations.
